Why aren't you smiling?
The other day as I was getting out of my car, I wasn't in any particular sort of mood at all, but I must have been lost in thought. All of a sudden, from across the parking lot, a man shouted, "Hey! Why aren't you smiling?"
I looked up and said "I wasn't? Oh, sorry!" and flashed my best grin.
"There now, that's better!" the man said as he got in his car. "You've got a beautiful smile. You should share it."
"Thanks!" I said as he drove away.
"Keep that smile on your face!"
It was a small thing, really. The man was a stranger and didn't have to say a thing, but I'm glad he did. It made my day.
