I paid my parking tickets
So we all know how it goes ... you're downtown and parking is scarce. You've got ONE quick little errand to run and you know you'll be right back. You find a space where your car will fit, but fail to notice the sign that says "LOADING ZONE ONLY."
Ten minutes later, you've got a ticket. I mean, it wasn't intentional and you really weren't gone all that long, should you really have to pay the city $25 for that?
A few other incidents ... and that first little ticket has friends. You heard a friend say once that you had to have at least $500 worth before they'd give you the boot, so you've still got a way to go, but eventually your conscience gets the best of you.
So, I PAID MY PARKING TICKETS ... on my own, and not because I was caught. By the time all was said and done, the damage was nearly $200, but it felt so good :)
